Tonya Sanchez, PA-C

Tonya was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia (now Augusta University) in 2007. Prior to attending PA School, Tonya worked as a Medical Technologist and received her Undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale at Fort Gordon, GA in Health Care Management.

After graduating from the PA program, Tonya remained in the Augusta area. She spent some time in Primary Care but mostly practiced in the field of Gynecology. She relocated to the Atlanta area in 2019. Since this time she has gained exposure in the field of Urogynecology and Urology.

Over the course of her career, Tonya has gained invaluable experience and knowledge, but feels one of the most important things she has learned is how to listen to her patients. She encourages everyone to feel comfortable enough to share what is truly going on. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their best quality of life. Outside of work. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church/bible study and participating in volunteer activities to help the underserved. She lives in Marietta, Ga with her husband and 3 fur babies. She has 3 adult children who live in Sandy Springs.
