Dr. Mercy Amua-Quarshie MD MPH, is a board certified Ob/Gyn with decades of clinical experience. She has been serving patients at Dekalb Women’s Specialists since 2021.

Clinical Practice & Philosophy

Dr. Amua-Quarshie provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with a focus on education, prevention, and individualized treatment. Her clinical approach is centered on providing excellent comprehensive gynecologic care, in addition to excellent obstetrical care, honoring the sanctity of human life.

Family & Community

Dr. Amua-Quarshie has been married for over 2 decades and they have 2 children. She is active in Christian ministry, serving as a lead teacher in her Church’s Children’s Ministry, and along with her husband, mentors young people. She is dedicated to supporting relatives and community development efforts in Ghana. Her commitment to Jesus Christ, family, and service are at the heart of both her personal and professional life.
