Dr. Kathleen S. Johnson

Dr. Kathleen Johnson was born in St. Lucia, West Indies and grew up in the British Virgin Islands. She received her undergraduate training at the University of the Virgin Islands followed by medical school at the University of Connecticut. After receiving her medical degree, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she received residency training at Vanderbilt University Hospital. There, she won an Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures award and the Senior Resident Research Forum Award for her article “Outcomes After Induction of Labor in Patients with Premature Rupture of Membranes at 34 Weeks” .

After residency, she practiced for two and a half years in Madison, Tennessee. In 1999, she moved to Corona, California where she met and married her husband, Clark, and later had daughter, Samantha. She moved to Atlanta to be closer to family and to provide excellent care to the women of this community. Dr. Johnson is very interested in pelvic support surgery and breastfeeding education and support. She is also fluent in Spanish, a talent from which many of our patients can benefit.
