Dr. Julianne Adams

Dr. Julianne Adams is a native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She moved to Georgia in 1991 where she attended Clark Atlanta University for her undergraduate degree and completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Adams was the Chief Resident at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and the first African-American female to graduate from the residency program in its 40-year history. As an obstetrician/gynecologist, she is very interested in polycystic ovarian syndrome (P.C.O.S.).

Dr. Adams is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Adams is very active in the community as a sign language interpreter for her church and a motivational speaker at local schools. She even taught Science in the Atlanta Public Schools system at an alternative high school. In her spare time, Dr. Adams enjoys football.
