Dr. Kimberlee Coleman-Henderson

Dr. Kimberlee Coleman-Henderson is a native of Kansas City, Kansas. She has always felt it is her calling and purpose in life to work to improve the health of women. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana, and later returned to Kansas City to attend the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Coleman-Henderson received recognition for her research in medical school on HIV/AIDS in minority women and her work with a domestic violence prevention program. Dr. Coleman-Henderson continued her training at the Eastern Virginia Medical School of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program where she received more recognition for her performance in the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility departments. She is particularly interested in adolescent health care and minimally-invasive gynecological surgery.
Dr. Coleman-Henderson is married to Othello Henderson, a police officer, and they have two sons, Raphael and Angelo. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, participating in church activities, and spending time with her kids and their many sports activities. She also enjoys involvement in community service projects that involve uplifting young girls and women.
